Title: Electrical Engineering Manager
We are seeking an experienced EEM for a critical leadership role at our Meandu site on a 9 day fortnight roster.

About the Role:
As our EEM, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance activities across the mining operation. There will be a strong focus on dragline and CHPP maintenance as well as statutory compliance across site.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all electrical maintenance activities across Meandu, including:
- Dragline electrical maintenance and shutdowns.
- CHPP electrical maintenance and shutdowns.
- Lead a tight-knit, high-performing electrical crew and foster a culture that places safety as the forefront of all activities.
- Drive operational excellence by developing, planning, and executing robust electrical preventative maintenance programs.
- Ensure BUMA remains fully compliant with electrical safety regulations, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or a related trade qualification.
- Queensland EEM qualification.
- Extensive electrical maintenance experience, ideally in mining or heavy industry.
- Experience in dragline maintenance.
- Proven leadership skills.

Meandu Mine
BUMA Australia provides a total mine service to Stanwell Corporation’s Meandu Mine to deliver coal to the adjacent Tarong power station. We are responsible for both managing and operating the mine.
Services provided include planning, drilling, overburden removal, coal mining, coal processing, rehabilitation, and maintenance of mobile and fixed plant. The project uses a combination of dragline and truck-and shovel operations. Meandu Mine currently has five working pits, with sufficient coal to fuel the stations until at least 2037.
