About the Role:
We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at BUMA Australia in full time position on a 9 day fortnight roster. Reporting to the Regional Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for receipting, dispatching and maintaining inventory control within the required time frames and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and train warehouse staff in systems, processes, and safety standards
- Oversee goods receipting, storage, and part issuance for work orders
- Manage the physical inventory cycle count process to maintain stock accuracy
- Oversee dispatch, returns, transfers, and credit processes
- Raise purchase requisitions and follow up on outstanding purchase orders
- Conduct regular warehouse safety and compliance audits
- Lead warehouse improvement initiatives and apply best practices
- Ensure adherence to BUMA policies and procedures
- Maintain registers and certifications for tooling and lifting equipment
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory warehouse requirements
- Maintain records for hazardous goods, including MSDS documentation
About You:
- Previous warehousing experience within coal mining (essential)
- Computerised catalogue and inventory control experience (JDE, SAP or similar)
- A valid drivers licence
- Current G1,8,9 (formally S1,2,3) & G2 certificate (or willing to obtain)
- A forklift operators ticket
- Competent in the use of the common Microsoft Office Suite software
- Excellent communication, work planning and scheduling skills
- Moranbah and Mackay locals encouraged to apply

Goonyella
Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, BMA’s Goonyella Mine is one of Queensland’s largest coal mines. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres from the town of Moranbah.
BUMA Australia provides labour, supervision, technical support and mobile plant to perform truck and excavator pre-strip operations.
