We are seeking a Training Administrator to join our newly formed leadership team at Goonyella!

Goonyella
Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, BMA’s Goonyella Riverside Mine is one of Queensland’s largest coal mines. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres from the town of Moranbah.
BUMA Australia provides labour, supervision, technical support and mobile plant to perform truck and excavator pre-strip operations.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Training Administrator to join our team at Goonyella. As a key support member to the Health, Safety and Training team on site, your primary focus will be on clerical duties that support our contract and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Updating and managing skills matrix and other data-sets
- Booking external training
- Assist with new starter and transfer onboarding
- Prepare, review, and record standard working/operating procedures as required
- Maintain the practical/theoretical assessments records
- Manage assessment completion details
- Assist with and facilitate site inductions and familiarisations
About You:
- Administration experience with exposure to mining or heavy industry environment will be highly regarded
- Exposure to training, training organisations and training systems will be highly regarded
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent time management and record keeping skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly pick up new systems
- Ability to work within a team with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- DIDO radius under fatigue limits include Bowen Basin/Central Highlands /Mackay
- A passion for helping others and doing whatever jobs need doing
