Title: Senior Training Advisor - Goonyella
We are seeking a Senior Training Advisor to assist our Goonyella project on a 9 day fortnight roster.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Training Advisor to join our Goonyella team. As an integral member of the Health, Safety & Training team you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day function of the training team, working with supervisors to develop and deliver training plans, delivering training programs and ensuring compliance with the Training Needs Analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist employees and site personnel with applicable queries
- Coordinating onboarding for new starters
- Coordinating training and assessment planning and activities
- Reviewing and coordinating compliance with the Training Needs Analysis
- Maintain production and maintenance training matrixes
- Developing and delivering training programs
- Conducting training and assessment as required
- Assisting with the development of training programs
About You:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- G 1,8,9 Certificate (formally S 1,2,3)
- G2 Certificate
- Have a good understanding of the Queensland coal mining legislation, regulation and recognised standards
- Experienced using Learning Management Systems
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- A good team player attitude with a passion for problem solving and helping others
- Strong time management and attention to detail skills

Goonyella
Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, BMA’s Goonyella Mine is one of Queensland’s largest coal mines. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres from the town of Moranbah.
BUMA Australia provides labour, supervision, technical support and mobile plant to perform truck and excavator pre-strip operations.
