About the Role: 

We’re seeking full-time Operators to join our BUMA team at Goonyella. To be considered, applicants must have experience operating CAT D10 or D11 Track Dozers at a minimum, with experience across both Dozers and large Excavators highly regarded.  

Our fleet includes Komatsu 930E and Caterpillar 793 trucks, along with Liebherr R9800 and Hitachi 5600 & 3600 excavators. If you’re a safety-focused operator looking to join a great team and work with some of the biggest gear in mining, we’d love to hear from you.

About You: 

• Demonstrated experience operating CAT D10 or D11 Track Dozers, supported by machinery transcripts 

• Experience operating large Excavators is highly regarded 

• Strong safety focus with excellent attention to detail 

• Ability to manage fatigue and work a rotating day and night shift roster 

• A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude 

• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, or willingness to obtain

Goonyella 

Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, BMA's Goonyella Mine is one of Queensland's largest coal mines. It is situated approximately 30 kilometres from the town of Moranbah. 

BUMA Australia provide labour, supervision, technical support and mobile plant to perform truck and excavator pre-strip operations.
