We are seeking a HR Officer to support our long-standing mining contracts in Central QLD.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, this role will primarily be supporting our Goonyella and Blackwater operations. Some of the responsibilities of the role include:

• Prepare and issue standard employee correspondence, as directed by the Senior HR Advisor
• Supporting our project and office teams with a range of HR activities that fall within the employee life cycle, such as onboarding, investigation and disciplinary processes, talent & succession processes, maintaining HR records and databases and setting up and maintaining reporting dashboards for our leaders
• Working closely with the Senior HR Advisor on culture initiates for our projects

This role will require travel to our projects in Queensland.

About You:

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline (preferred)
• 2 years’ experience in a HR administration or officer role
• Experience using HR systems such as SAP
• Computer literacy is essential, including the Microsoft package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Self-driven with the ability to think proactively and innovatively
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills
