About the Role: 

We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Advisor to join our team. This role will primarily be supporting our Goonyella and Blackwater operations. Some of the responsibilities of the role include: 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and issue standard employee correspondence 

• Supporting our project and office teams with a range of HR activities that fall within the employee life cycle, such as onboarding, investigation and disciplinary processes, talent & succession processes, maintaining HR records and databases and setting up and maintaining reporting dashboards for our leaders 

• Working closely with the Senior HR Advisor on culture initiatives for our projects 

• Providing accurate and pragmatic HR advice across employee relations, workforce planning, culture and compliance 

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment 

• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills 

Please note: this role will require regular site travel. 

About You: 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (desirable) 

• 3 years’ experience in a HR Advisor role 

• Experience using HR systems such as SAP 

• Computer literacy is essential, including the Microsoft package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 

• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to plan, organise and resource effectively 

• High level of initiative and the ability to influence outcomes through others
