About Blackwater
Located in the Bowen Basin of Central Queensland, BMA’s Blackwater Mine is one of Queensland’s largest coal mines. It is situated approximately 21 kilometres from the town of Blackwater.
The BUMA Australia team have been performing truck and excavator pre-strip operations at Blackwater since May 2012. Over 44 million bank cubic metres of material is mined by our fleets every year.
About The Role:
We are currently seeking experienced Multi-Skill Production Operators interested in joining our team at Blackwater Mine.
Our fleet at Blackwater is comprised of CAT 785 Water Trucks, 16M & 18M Graders, CAT D10 & D11 Dozers. If you are looking for the oppurtunity to join a high performing team and have experience with any of the listed machines in addition to haul trucks then we would love to hear from you!
We have full time opportunities available which include an even time roster, camp accommodation/LAFHA and company provided bus transport.
About You:
We are seeking applications from candidates with the following experience/ licenses:

Proven experience operating water trucks, graders and dozers

Demonstrated experience within open cut mining

Production and safety oriented with a focus on achieving results for both yourself and for the company

High levels of initiative and the ability to work well under pressure
-
Your key focus is safety with a high attention to detail to abide by site procedures

Current and valid drivers license

Standard 11 would be advantageous

Current Covid19 Vaccination Certificate
