About the Role: 

We are seeking talented and motivated multi-skill operators to join our Blackwater team on a full-time permanent basis. Our Blackwater fleet is comprised of the following: Komatsu 930E, Caterpillar 793’s & 789C’s, CAT D10, CAT D11, Fusion Dozers, CAT 16M & 18M graders.

Key Requirements

• Valid ST11
• Coal Board Medical dated within the last 5 years (preferred)
• Transcripts that demonstrate proven experience on one or more of the excavators listed
• Identify and promote safe work practice, ensuring appropriate precautions are taken to reduce risk to both people, equipment and the environment.

About You: 

As a Multi Skill operator you will possess a combination of the following skills:

• Haul Trucks (789/793/785) + Water Truck + Grader
• Haul Trucks (789/793/785) + Grader + Dozer (D10, D11)
• Haul Trucks (789/793/785) + Dozer  (D10, D11)

Blackwater Mine

Located in Central Queensland, Blackwater Mine is one of the state’s largest coal mines, just 21 km from Blackwater. BUMA Australia has been handling truck and excavator pre-strip operations here since 2012, moving over 40 million BCM of material annually.
